Gary Helman wrote: Yesterday I went to East Sale. There is a major rebuilding project and demolition in progress.  Those that knew the old Fire Station will see by the attached photo that it has been demolished. All that now remains is the front driveway, rear car park and the fire hydrant. other buildings that I noticed being demolished are the Officer's Mess and Facilities Complex.

A beautiful building gone and destroyed. Many good memories. Forwarded by Pat Mildren.
